We all know that the camera lens does capture a given scene in its entirety (nor would we want it to do so). But sometimes the grandeur of a place can be represented better with a panoramic image that is larger than a single lens view. In this gallery are a few panoramas that are stitched together from several individual photos. I hope they give you a small sense of the expansive view to which our eyes were often treated.
